Geriatric Care

Preventative care is the key to geriatric care. Preventative medicine is important when our pets are young, but as our pets age they become prone to certain diseases. Annual exams and bloodwork become critical for early diagnoses and treatment. Geriatric exams and bloodwork to check liver values, kidney values, blood glucose, protein levels, electrolytes along with thyroid function can alert us to early changes that give us valuable information about your pet’s health. Your pet's healthcare needs change as they age and these test results allows us to keep your pet happy and healthy through the golden years.

Hospice & Euthanasia

Saying goodbye to your pet can be overwhelming. We don’t want you to be alone at the end stages of a pets’ life and we will treat each case with compassion and understanding care. Owners often struggle with guilt and the question of are they doing the right thing. Each situation is unique and we offer guidance and support. We offer private cremation which allows the owner to keep the ashes of their beloved pet.
